Elyse + Erik at Fort Ebey
The day started off early in this bright and spacious home in Whidbey Island that they had rented. They all got ready in the same house and then we met up at Fort Ebey State Park where the gentlemen arranged the chairs right on a cliff. Our faces soaked in the sun as were surrounded by the ocean with a view of the mountains. It was so serene in our little corner that every word was loud and clear.
I really wish I had paid more attention to the Officiant's speech but we were so close to the edge of this cliff that I was more attentive to where I was stepping while not missing a moment at the same time! This was one of the most intimate weddings I have attended and I felt so grateful to be there to photograph.
We walked through the park's trails and took some more portraits to take advantage of the nature around us. Everything was picturesque so it was more difficult passing by an area and not taking pictures there. This day was filled with so much love, joy, and simple details from their rings to the location! Thankful for a mutual friend that connected us because everyone there showed so much love that it was easy to get beautiful photos.
Happy One Month Anniversary Elyse and Erik. May you enjoy many more hikes together :)
