A Day with Jezer

Motherhood has taken up a lot of my time lately. Even pregnancy kept me busy as I felt sick most of the time that I couldn’t even cook anything, especially with garlic and I LOVE GARLIC! I’m slowly getting back in to the groove of things including work. I’m lucky to have gotten a brand new phone to help me take better photos of my son on-the-go but I miss my actual camera. I picked it up for the first time to photograph my in-laws babysitting at their house. I’ve almost forgotten how to take pictures because I was so caught up in the moment of being with them. That’s what I’ve been doing mostly, being present with my new family of three. That is also one of the things motivating me to get back out there and photograph again because families need to be present with their own also but who’s going to capture it for them? So hopefully, I can do that for others too.

The warmth and fuzziness didn’t fall short at all for the short amount of time I spent photographing them. Jezer fell comfortably in his Auntie’s arms like they were built to be held there for mealtimes. He smiled and laughed at his big cousin JV as if they’ve had the same inside jokes for a lifetime. His Uncle has the biggest patience with him that they can just sit on the couch for as long as he falls asleep on his shoulder. This family babysitting Jezer is almost like watching a family on vacation. Babycation? Here’s a little preview of how much love Jezer gets…
